Design a software tool that can be used by schools administrators and staffs to provide timely access to student information, improve data collection and reporting efficiency, and support data driven decision-making.
OBJECTIVES
The Major objectives that can be expressed at this stage for our SMS, which we will like to achieve, are listed as under -
- Automating time-consuming and repetitive tasks.
- Minimizing the amount of data to be entered - details are input just once and are then available immediately and consistently to every part of the system.
- To provide timely and up-to-date access to data or information whenever desired.
- To design and implement a relational data base Management system which will help in scheduling the staff in an efficient manner.
- To create awareness of information technology and its efficiency to administration peoples of schools to manage there daily work in efficient way.
- To analyse staff and student performance in regular basis so they can groom fast in their personal, academic, curricular activities and can take decision for future.
- To make schools like a organization with limited no of paper work and hard files and transfer then into e-files (electronic files).

Project Description
School Management Software (SMS Standard Desktop / SMS Standard Enterprise Version 1.1) is a complete and customized solution for a school handling regular Management work. By going through the flow of application one can easily maintain its student detail, fees detail, Employee detail, Certificate details, Time Table and Exam scheduling, Exams and Question Paper detail and Transportation Detail. This software includes the Management of students, Employee, Accounts, Transportation, library, Fees, Exam, Time Table, Inventory and its respective reports with administrative module to provide better security. User-friendly menus can easily generate all the reports.
